Aquafix becomes part of the ACO Group

The largest separator manufacturer in the Netherlands - Aquafix Milieu - is joining the ACO Group. The company was founded 27 years ago by Michel Pieke and is now the largest manufacturer of concrete and plastic oil and grease separators on the Dutch market. Pumping stations, wastewater treatment and water management products are also part of Aquafix's production portfolio, as well as a distribution division for a wide range of wastewater and drainage products. Aquafix employs 40 people at its production facility in Mijdrecht, about 20 kilometres south of Amsterdam. It has a large warehouse and a sales office in Belgium. ACO and Aquafix share the DNA of a family business and will strengthen each other as sister companies in terms of product range, know-how and market coverage.

The potential offered by the local production of separators, pumping stations and other concrete and plastic products will enable us to respond better and faster to market and project needs. Together with the management teams, Paul Gruson will lead both companies as Managing Director. Michel Pieke will continue to act as a consultant for Aquafix Milieu to support a smooth transition into the ACO Group.

1 billion euros. On the Dutch market, the company has been active for over 50 years from its sales office in Doetinchem. ACO Netherlands employs 40 people and is active in civil engineering, construction drainage and building materials. The ACO Group produces a wide range of drainage solutions. Increasingly, these use smart technology to ensure that rainwater and wastewater are drained or stored in accordance with requirements.
