ACO WaterCycle

Due to the increase in extreme weather events as a result of climate change, we are facing ever-increasing challenges. Storms, rising water levels and the increase in heavy downpours, some of which lead to severe flooding, emphasise the need for effective water cycle management. We are developing solutions to be prepared for this.

Michael Müller

“Water is too precious a resource to treat rainwater solely as wastewater in the long term.”

Michael Müller
Head of drainage/sewer casting

Der ACO WaterCycle
The ACO WaterCycle illustrates the guiding principle of the natural water cycle

A holistic view of the natural water cycle is in our DNA. Our aim is to help preserve clean groundwater as a vital resource and thus make a valuable contribution to the world of tomorrow. For this reason, we create systems with which water can be collected and channelled, purified, stored and ultimately reused.

The goal is achievable - with the ACO WaterCycle!

Lea Woldag-Schwauna

“A well-founded sustainability endeavour begins long before marketing talks about it. This is also the case for us. We are therefore all the more proud to be able to report on where we already stand as a WaterTech company and ambassador for UN SDG6.”

Lea Woldag-Schwauna
Head of Corporate Marketing

As part of the ACO WaterCycle System, various systems are linked together to ensure efficient water treatment and utilisation.
and utilisation. We offer customised solutions and holistic concepts for each section of the ACO WaterCycle. As every project is unique, we adapt our approaches to the respective requirements and conditions. Find out more about how the individual steps can be implemented.

collect: Collect and absorb

For example through wastewater heat recovery

clean: Pre-cleaning and treatment

For example through sustainable grease separation technology

hold: Holding and retaining water

For example, through responsible heavy rain and flood prevention

reuse: Pumping, draining and reusing

For example, by conserving water resources
